College Golf Camps®- CGC 101 – Junior Golf Exposure Camp returns to Houston, Texas, Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th, 2023. This is your exlcusive opportunity to understand the unique college experience and team golf environment.
Junior golfers, do you want to know what it’s like to play college golf? At the CGC 101 exposure camp, junior golfers will embrace the spirit of “college golf” while learning important aspects of practicing, match play and strategies within team golf. Each camper will learn, compete and apply the valuable lessons learned from our coaches. Camp is limited to the first 16 junior golfers.
This Junior Golf Exposure Camp is modeled after the NCAA Golf Championship Match-Play Event.

*Each coach will have at least 2 other assistants who are college golf coaches at the NCAA DII, DIII, NAIA and/or JUCO
Yes, we guarantee the college coaches listed will be in attendance. Our camper-to-coach ratio is at least 4-to-1. The coaches will be in attendance at the entire camp. When the campers are not on the golf course with the coaches, they are on in some type of seminar, clinic or instructional session.

– COMBINED 72 HOLES WILL BE PLAYED

– Each Junior Golfer will be assigned to a team of 4 campers coached by one of our College Golf Coaches
– Each Junior Golfer will play an 72 hole instructional/evaluation round
– Each Junior Golfer will play 9 hole matches with instruction/coaching
– Point system for match play to embrace the spirit of competition
– Each Coach will have a team of campers to instruct, guide, motivate, WIN!!!
– Limited to 16 boys
– Each camper will receive 4 evaluations

Curriculum: 21 hours of Education and 9 hours of competition
College Golf Camps®is committed to the following four aspects:
Game Development: themes such as team golf, the transition from practice to the tournament, mental game, course management, golf development, student development etc.
Education: work with college golf coaches on Life skills for college freshman, Be the student in student-athlete, swing tips, course management, drills, evaluations for game development, success for student-athletes.
Competition: coaches will be on course to provide interaction and feedback, 54 holes of competition with on course interaction with college coaches during the competition, players will be provided feedback on game improvement.
Student preparation: topic will include transition from junior to college golf, be the student the student-athlete, NCAA education, road map of junior golf, team golf, championship golf, life skills for college freshman, Open Q/A’s, Playing with freedom, harness your inner champion, including on-course tips, getting around a golf course.
College Golf Camps®provides each player with a CGC Notebook to take notes and track your improvement over the camp!!

8:00am – Camp Check-in
8:30am – Transition from Junior Golf to College Golf
9:00am – Warm-up to perform, play to WIN presentation
9:30am – First Round – 18 hole competition – 4 tee times with college golf coaches
1:00pm – Lunch provided
2:00pm – Second Round – 18 hole competition – 4 tee times with college golf coaches
3:00pm – “Play college golf” presentation for parents
6:30pm – Dinner provided for Junior Golfers, Parent and Coaches
7:00pm – Championship Golf presentation
Sunday, November 12th, 2023
6:30am – Team breakfast for Junior Golfers and Coaches
7:00am – Warm-up to perform, play to WIN presentation
7:30am – Third Round – 18 hole competition – 4 tee times with college golf coaches
12:00pm – Lunch provided
1:00pm – Fourth Round – 18 hole competition – 4 tee times with college golf coaches
5:00pm – Final exit meetings, camp concludes

Cost of the camp is $2995, $495 deposit is required with four easy payments for the remaining balance, the balance of camp fee is due within 60 days of camp.
