CGC Men’s Coach of the Week – Chris Haack, University of Georgia
Congratulations to Head Golf Coach Chris Haack from University of Georgia, he is our CGC Men’s Coach of the Week. Coach Haack has a wealth of experience as a college golf coach. He was excited to work our CGC – Las Vegas camp in 2014. He brought a whole new level of joy and energy to experience!! He known to be a master motivator.
He has been named National Coach of the Year twice, as well as, SEC Coach of the Year four times. His teams won national championships twice. He is the only coach to ever have all five players receive all-american honors. He had 5 former players competing in the PGA Tour Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
The Bulldogs start their season February 22nd in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Classic . They currently rank 38th in the Golfweek rankings.

What is your greatest achievement?
Being named to the College Golf Coaches Hall of Fame
What is your proudest moment as a coach?
Winning the National Championship in 1999 and 2005

Dishonesty

Good sense of humor and able to take a joke

Snakes and Spiders
What is your favorite place to eat on the road?
Any local pizza joint
Best advice you received as a junior golfer?
Make putting a priority….I didn’t listen

Never turned Pro and giving myself a chance of making it
