College Golf Camps of America presents the First Annual CGC Junior Golf Classic, July 28th-July 30th, 2013 in Dallas, Texas.

This prospect camp will accept the first 54 boys and 54 girls from all over the world.This a unique golf opportunity designed specifically for high school players interested in playing college golf. College Golf Camps of America will conduct a 36 hole, stroke play tournament in conjunction with fundamental player instruction. We will have 20 major universities committed to having one of their coaches under NCAA compliance to instruct at this camp.

We will have 20 committed to work with your skills! An average of $24 per school for your personal instruction & evaluation. 7 to 1 player to coach ratio. This the newest “cutting edge” college prospect camp in the country. We conform to all NCAA regulations for private golf camps, (NCAA Bylaw 13.12.2.3.2) which makes it possible for College Golf Camps of America to hire NCAA coaches to instruct, clinician and evaluate.

This is your opportunity to compete in front of the best collegiate programs in America. This camp provides the player with the tools needed to sharpen your golf skills and become the complete player that colleges are looking for in their programs. Parents will be invited to attend all scheduled events including classroom instruction and academic standards meetings. These classroom sessions will be lead by NCAA coaches, compliance officers and academic advisors who are experts in their fields.

We have devised a fundamental skills assessment which will provide basis of your overall golf ability. Each day, players will compete in 18 hole stroke play tournament followed by instruction on the full swing, short game, putting, bunker play, mental game, course management and clinics topics with student in mind.

This is the only golf prospects camp of it’s kind. This is the best prospects camp available, period!

The camps schedule is as follows:

Day 1

9am – 12pm – Camp Check-in
1pm – Lunch for Players, Parents, Coaches
2pm-3pm – Welcome Player and Parents
3:15pm- 4:30pm-Clinic- “Transition from Junior Golf to College Golf” – Speaker, TBA,
6pm – 9pm – Fundamentals Skills Assessment – Driving Range/Short Game Area

Day 2
7am – Shotgun Start for all players
1pm – Lunch for Players, Staff and College Coaches. – Meet and Greet for all involved
2pm –
3pm – Clinics – All Boys – “Body is Your Business” – Speaker, TBA, – All Girls – “A Golfers Mind” – Speaker, TBA,
3:15pm – 4:15pm – Clinics – All Girls – “Body is Your Business” – All Boys – “A Golfers Mind” – Speaker, TBA,
4:30pm – 5:30pm – Clinics – All Boys – “Life Skills for the College Freshman” – All Girls – “Golf is a TEAM sport” – Speaker, TBA,
5:45pm – 6:45pm – Clinics – All Girls – “Life Skills for the College Freshman” – All Boys – “Golf is a TEAM sport” – Speaker, TBA,
Night Activity – Short Game Challenge

Day 3

7am – Shotgun Start for all players
1pm – Lunch for Players, Staff and College Coaches.
2pm-3pm – Clinic – All Players – “The reality of Collegiate Golf”
3:15pm – Conclusion of Camp.

College Golf Camps of America’s host hotel and headquarters will be the, TBD, located within minutes to the golf course. DFW airport is locating 15 minutes from the golf course and hotel. You will stay with your parents to save on your costs (no meals will be provided). The hotel will provide a discount group room rate, if you make your reservations as a “CGC” participant.

A confirmation letter will be sent to you giving hotel information and securing your camp registration.

Each player will receive a tournament package and a written evaluation from one of our collegiate coaches. Each player is responsible for their own equipment, including clubs, balls, tees, etc.

The camp will only take limited number of players to insure quality instruction from our college coaches and limit slow play. This camp will fill quickly because everyone wants the opportunity to play for these schools!
